Our client is a Medical manufacture that builds and deploys worldwide real-life integrated solutions to deliver the highest quality patient care as efficiently as possible.
The Application Software team is looking for a software developer to make our vision a reality on a variety of platforms, including Windows and Windows Embedded. You should be a strong developer with excellent native and managed code skills and have developed and shipped commercial software products.
Compensation: Base Salary Market DOE plus and benefits (healthcare, paid time off, etc.)
This is for a FTE or full-time employment position. No H1b visa candidates, must live in the Seattle, Issaquah WA. Surrounding area
Core Skill set required:
Minimum of five years of experience in Software Development, including the shipping of at least two commercial products.
Strong Experience in XAML/HTML5 building and creating the GUI or user interface
Experience in C++/C# development
Demonstrated ability to independently accomplish assigned tasks and work with others.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good documentation and process discipline.
The ability to function effectively in a multi-discipline team environment is required.
Bonus skills that would be beneficial but not required:
Have earned Ship It awards and is known as a Shipper
Current or previous employment as a developer with Microsoft
Working knowledge of unit test implementation and frameworks
Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Windows Embedded Standard, and Android
WCF or WPF
Development experience in multiple product topologies (embedded, application, web, database, and networking
Responsibilities:
Accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate good documentation discipline, both inline and in architecture and design documentation.
Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
Creatively and proactively address problems and find algorithm improvements.
Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
Find creative solutions to broadly defined problems or directives.
Analysis of marketing requirements.
Participate in and/or lead design efforts.
Create and test quality software personally and as part of a team.
Lead technical reviews of project software deliverables.
Estimate time and effort on projects and tasks.
