Job Title: TELECOM ANALYST (with 5-10 years Genesys experience)
Job Location: Issaquah, WA, USA
Job Type: Direct Hire / Fulltime Employment with CLIENT- not Consulting Companies but the very INDUSTRY / ORGANIZATION where the business chain ends
Annual Comp. Package: Base Salary + all Benefits covered + excellent Relocation
This position performs the tasks necessary to analyze, design, configure, implement and support Clients voice network infrastructure, with primary focus on our Genesys IVR and backend routing suite as well as maintaining our Cisco Call Manager partition.
This will involve working closely with the Infrastructure and Application Development areas to develop detailed design and execution of strategic solutions.
The position entails network monitoring and troubleshooting, cooperative engagement with other departments and vendors, working to resolve network, application, and configuration issues/concerns, and analysis and implementation of system changes.
Responsible for daily troubleshooting, support and maintenance of network Voice infrastructure, with emphasis on our Genesys & Cisco voice platforms, including both remote and hands-on support of other groups, vendors, customers, monitoring CARTS, etc.
Design new IVR applications, leveraging web services, databases and other external applications
Design new complex business rule routing applications
Identify and solve / fix technical problems within the call center voice environment before they cause downtime
Thoroughly diagram voice solutions, configurations, break/fix procedures, call flows and routing designs
Analyze business requirements and design comprehensive cost effective enterprise level solutions
Acts as technical advisor on Telecom owned or other groups projects and designs
Performs project manager function for complex systems design, implementation and integration; including providing technical business case analysis and ROI
Assist other Analysts and Management with developing long term, enterprise level planning around standards, and process
Stay informed of Client as well as industry Information Security policy and practice
Mentor and provide training to Telecom specialists, NOC, Desktop, and SD personnel
Responsible for special functions and duties as directed by management
Minimum of 5 years of experience and/or equivalent education in Genesys IVR, routing, reporting and other Genesys applications
Minimum of 2 years of experience and/or equivalent education in networking design and implementation in a complex, multiprotocol environment
Knowledge of Genesys from an architectural level
Strong knowledge of Ethernet platforms and WAN technologies, T1, xDSL, and MPLS technologies
Strong troubleshooting skills to isolate network faults, including packet sniffing/analysis, and use of enterprise networking analysis, monitoring, and/or configuration tools
Strong project management skills to lead projects, excellent organization and methodology
Ability to adjust priorities in rapidly changing environments; work well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical or non-technical stakeholders
Ability to provide effective onsite and remote support and troubleshooting 24X7
Familiarity with all Cisco hardware and applications useful
Experience with Windows Servers and MS SQL Databases
Understanding of and/or aptitude with scripting or programming languages
Knowledge of proxy servers and content/caching systems
Understanding of security and vulnerability best practice and design implications/mitigations
Understanding of DR/HA and co-location design implications
