Summary:
The Patient Service Representative is liaison for patient appointments, gathering and inputting registration information, registering insurance information, and accommodating patient service.
This includes booking appointments, processing necessary information to support possible triaging with physicians and medical assistants on acute scheduling problems.

Detail oriented Flexible attitude Collaborative Ability to work independently, with little supervision Interfaces well with staff and physicians Professional demeanor JOB RESPONSIBILTIES OF PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:
1.
Schedule medical appointments via telephone (call center) 2.
Collect and enter patient (demographics) data for appointment along with their insurance information for verification of active insurance.
3.
Verify information on established patients.
Update patient information in NextGen for all patients.
4.
Complete duties as directed by supervisor.
5.
Assist other personnel as directed by Practice Administrator.
Job Specifications Education/Experience High School education 1-2 years relevant experience in customer service Minimum one-year Medical Reception experience (desired), ENT preferred Background with health plans desired Skills/Abilities Problem solving skills Skill in using a computer Ability to accurately type/data entry Attention to detail Ability to remove oneself personally from given situations, remaining objective Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physician and staff Ability to multi-task Skill in organizing and reporting information that is accurate and complete Understanding of the need for and evidence of consistent respect for confidentiality Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff Ability to communicate clearly Consistency and timeliness in attendance Following the most recent vaccination mandate for healthcare workers in Washington State, and our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and patients, all Proliance employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination by October 18, 2021 or proof of a medical or religious exemption.
