We are seeking a Sales Coordinator for our international headquarters in Issaquah, Washington.
Overview of Position This position will be actively involved in supporting the Vanguard International USA Sales and Operations team.
It requires a dynamic, flexible, and detail-oriented team player that can add value to the company across a wide range of activities and responsibilities.
This role serves as a foundation builder with potential to transition into an international salesperson for the company.
Job Specifications Update internal platform with current prices and sales related information.
This will include consolidating photos and managing data.
Generate orders with complete and accurate content to ensure efficient supply chain management from our suppliers to our end customers around the world.
Assist in claim processing, following up with salespeople and customers to ensure we have all documentation needed to meet claim reporting requirements.
Proactively identify discrepancies and variances with supplier paperwork.
Communicate with credit references to obtain appropriate information for assessing new customer developments.
Prepare analyses for upcoming customer and supplier meetings.
Monitor and update ocean freight rates provided by carrier partners.
Assist with travel and convention planning.
Process and finalize post-shipment paperwork.
Assist with supplier and customer communication and quoting as directed.
Prepare/Review documentation packages to ensure accuracy before submitting to customers.
Vessel schedule statuses and alerts for our sales team to communicate the most precise schedule information to our customers.
Prepare various daily reports for internal distribution.
Perform other general administrative functions to achieve the highest level of customer service.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Operates with integrity and is respectful.
Must be highly detailed and results oriented.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Knowledge of Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus.
PC proficiency in MS Office of tools.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
We work with suppliers, customers, and coworkers in different global time zones.
Therefore, occasional after-hours availability is required.
Experience and Education Previous experience in the produce industry is desirable, but not required.
A college degree is desirable, but not required.
