00 Pacific time We are in search of a Full-Charge Bookkeeper with 5
years' experience with multiple entities using the full range of bookkeeping functions (eg tax, payroll, financial prep, tax prep, reporting).
You must be a self-starter who is good with email and comfortable with technology.
We have a generous leave/vacation policy and flexible hours.
Our focus is on making sure the work gets done.
The position has a lot of variety with keeping the books and records for multiple properties (separate entities).
Some are easy, some are extensive.
Some are nearby, and some are in different geographies.
QuickBooks desktop (proficiency required) AP and AR Bank Reconciliation Monthly Internal Financial Reports Monthly Cash Reports Payroll Payroll taxes Real estate escrow account management/reconcile Annual property tax payments Tax Reporting B&O/ Sales Tax Monthly Reporting Annual Property Tax Reports Equipment purchases Capital equipment Labor Law Compliance L&I Compliance Annual renewals of software Insurance We are in the process of moving to a largely digital office.
Familiarity with handling and managing digital documents, backup and retention procedures, and laying out accounting processes is a plus.
Familiarity with Windows, Quickbooks Pro desktop, Excel, Dropbox is required, along with the ability to come up to speed on other software as needed.
