Seattle area online Travel Company that has 350 employees with a fun start up atmosphere that is wholly owned by a local fortune 100 company, is seeking a creative, team oriented, and motivated programmer to assist with the development on upcoming projects and enhancements to its reservations system. This will include both internal and online applications and will involve the enhancement and maintenance of reservation system and creation of vendor specific connections via web services for product availability, pricing and reservations. Tasks and
Responsibilities:

Responsible for gathering user requirements, design and development of in house travel booking application
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with the application in a timely manner
Play instrumental role in development of future travel business applications
Develop and implement enhancements to make the sales floor more efficient
Efficiently work within the defined development processes and SDLC
Take part in the design discussions and update data models
Make changes to the framework files on a need-basis.
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Abilities and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

years of experience with design and development of client/server and/or web based applications
4
years of experience with core Java technologies and libraries
3
years of experience with Java EE technologies (Servlet & JSP)
3
years of experience with JDBC or equivalent data-tier framework, database design & development
3
years of experience with SDLC frameworks & IT best practices
1
years of experience with MS-SQL Server and/or Transact-SQLEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
